SENATE President,
Dr. Bukola Saraki will on March 10, 2016 mount the accused box at the Code of
Conduct Tribunal in view of the 13 count charge instituted against him at the
tribunal.
The trial was
suspended following the appeal filed by the Senate President challenging the
jurisdiction of the tribunal to try him.
Saraki is
facing a 13-count charge for allegedly falsification of assets declared on
assumption of the office of the President of the Senate as well as his failure
to declare his assets when he was governor of Kwara State between 2003 to 2011.
