WIFE of the President, Aisha Buhari is
presenting her new book titled, “The Essentials of Beauty Therapy” today in the
State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
According to statement reported from
her office, the book was in remembrance of the Chibok girls who were kidnap two
years ago by the dreadful Boko Haram Islamic insurgency group, and the gruesome
murder of the over 40 secondary school boys from Buni Yadi Community School in
Yobe State.
The statement added that the proceeds
from the launching would be dedicated towards charity and improving the living
conditions of families of the embattled girls, parents of the deceased boys and
Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
“The book launch is also an eloquent
expression of the fact that the federal government is deeply concerned about
the Chibok girls and the Buni Yadi boys who were earlier murdered by Boko Haram
before the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls.
“The book is a masterpiece on the
intricate linkage between beauty and wellness therapy and improving health
conditions of our people”, the statement read.
