| Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton |
FORMER US
Secretary of State and presumptive candidate of the Democrats in the 2016 November Presidential election, Mrs. Hillary Clinton has overwhelmingly reinforced her
presidential campaign by securing big donors ahead of the forthcoming election
with a private fund in the bank not less than $42m as against her opponent,
Donald Trump of the Republican Party who has $1.3m to contend with for the
election.
Apart
from the whooping sum in Clinton’s treasury for the campaign, her super PAC
(political Action Committee), known as Priorities USA, as learnt, has another
$52 million, to run the campaign machinery...
According to reports,
Trumps’s fund represents an unprecedented low in recent history for a major
presidential campaign in the United States of America.
A
report also indicated that Trump has dumped his campaign manager in
controversial circumstances following some squabbles believably the Whitehouse
contest.
Among
strategies Clinton intends to execute is the arrangement to spend more than
$100 million on a television advertising blitz ahead of the November election. Last
week Clinton launched a media blitz of ads attacking Trump in eight key states
— Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and
Virginia.
Clinton’s
campaign staff strength at the moment is pegged at over 700 people as against
Trump’s skeletal staff of less than 60, thereby making him jittery on the
contest to challenge Hillary.
From
another source, most of political associates of her husband, Bill Clinton are
actively involved to actualize the dream of electing the former US secretary of
state as occupant of the Whitehouse for the next political dispensation.
However,
Trump’s campaign, which has prided itself on its lean organization, is planning
to outsource it to the Republican party; a task it normally does not perform.
