THE Asset Management
Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on Thursday morning sealed the Lagos and Abuja
premises of Silverbird Galleria which belongs to Senator Ben Murray Bruce over a
debt of N11bn owed to AMCON.
The Galleria currently
houses the studio of the Radio and Television stations of the senator as well
as his other business interests.
The walls of the building
were noticeably stained with hand written paints with inscription, ,
“Possession taken by court order 26/06/16.”
According to reports, the
owner who is popularly known as “Common sense- senator’ following his ‘common
sense harangue has fled the country.
