| Saraki, Ekweremadu, others docked |
SENATE
President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, were docked before
an Abuja High Court on Monday (today) over the two-count charge instituted by
the Federal Government in respect of alleged forgery of the Senate Standing
Rules, 2015.
Others
arraigned alongside were former Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu
Abubakar Maikasuwa and his deputy, Mr. Benedict Efeturi...
The four
accused persons pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge preferred
against them. Following the ‘not guilty plea’, they were all granted bail while
the case was adjourned to July 11.
