Our Commitment To Deliver Is Non-Negotiable- Osinbajo

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN)
VICE PRESIDENT, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) has reiterated the determination of the present President Mohammadu Buhari administration to deliver on all its campaign promises to the people of Nigeria adding that transparency and accountability remain the highlights of the government.

In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, the Vice President made the remarks while receiving a delegation of his Law Faculty class-mates from the University of Lagos of 1975/1978 set on Thursday stating that the government is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the high expectations citizens had on the government during the inauguration are accomplished.

He called on Nigerians for optimum support and cooperation to the federal government adding that with the present leadership in the country, Nigeria will certainly make a remarking progress that will be long-termed.  Osinbajo categorically described the President as a square peg in a square hole stating that with him at the helm of affairs, the country has no option than to make good progress.

“Our President is a man who is honest and whose only desire is to make Nigeria go forward and become a great nation. The president and I are determined to give a good account of ourselves and more importantly ensure the country makes tremendous progress”, he said.

Justice Chinyelu Anigbodu who seemingly led the delegation eulogized the Vice President stating that his election as the Vice President was in overall interest of the nation, and indeed a gift. He therefore charged the VP to use his legal background to ensure that the policies of the government are conducted within the ambit of the law, and above all to the overall interest of the populace.
