FEDERAL
government has declared Tuesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 6 as public holidays
to mark this year’s Eid-el Fitri celebrations.
This
was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Bassy Okon
Akpanyung, on behalf of the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau
(rtd), in Abuja stating that the government wishes all the Muslims celebrants a
happy celebration.
The
minister in his goodwill message enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians in
general to use the opportunity of Ramadan pray for love, peace and unity of the
country as well as to rededicate their individual lives towards contributing to
the development of the nation...
Danbazau
also enjoined all and sundry to continue to give unalloyed supports to
President Muhammadu Buhari and his government in his effort to move the nation
forward assuring that the present administration meant well for the nation.
