Buhari has resumed duties at the Presidential Villa on Monday (this morning) having successfully returned to Nigeria on Sunday after spending 14 days in London, United
Kingdom over treatment of ear infection in an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist Hospital.
The presidential jet landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi
Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
Assuring
of his fitness to resume duty, he spoke to
journalist immediately at the airpot and emphatically said he was fit and will certainly resume duties as
said on monday (today).
“You have
seen me. You saw me when I was going. You can do the assessment yourself.
“I am okay. You can see me inspecting the guard of honour. You can see I am taller than you. Do you want to wrestle with me, you can do so”. Buhari said.

Buhari was received by
Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello;
members of the Federal Executive Council, top government officials, federal
lawmakers and service chiefs among others, and after airport ceremonies including inspection of guards , the President and some top aides proceeded to the
Presidential Villa to prepare for official resumption accordingly.
