NFF Mourns Another Star, As Shaibu Joins Keshi In Benin, Same Week

FORMER Technical Director of the Nigerian FootFootball Federation, Amodu Shaibu on Saturday gave up the ghost in another cardiac arrest related health problem in Benin City three days after former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi died in the same city in Edo state.

According to reports, Shaibu’s remain has been deposited at the morgue in Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City, incidentally the same facility where Keshi's body was deposited three days ago after his sudden transition.

It was however disclosed that the four-time coach of the national team had complained of chest pains on Friday prior to his unexpected demise the next day.

Shaibu died at the age of 58 while Keshi passed on at 54.
