A disembodied spirit, You were a ghost trapped between two worlds...a soul perpetually crying over spilt milk.
They transformed you into an ethereal form, a light upon a drab world , burning away slowly and always ,while no one pays heed to the inner torments of the light except the shines of the burning.
You chased fame and conquered fame. But the effort in itself, denied you a grip upon the solid material world in which the rest of humanity live. You lost touch with humour and little contact with ordinary life.
Amidst the frenzied beats of your soulful songs and the never ending uproar for more from the maddening fans, you were begging for attention, seeking an understanding, a recognition that you needed love, to be loved.
At the end, you were the fretful mystic, the child before his God, terrified of this Universe and distrustful of the clamour to make you a god. The infant , crying for divine guidance , sapped of all strength and emotionally exhausted. Yes, your life remains a reminder to humanity, that man, no matter the grandeur of the moment, is not a god !!!
