SCORE CARD: APC,Buhari's First Year In Office: Is Buhari On Right Track Or Deviated?

PRESIDENT Mohammadu Buhari will be completing his first year in office on May 29, 2016.

In line with the concept of accountability, opinion polls have been opened to assess the performance of the present administration vis-a-vis plethora of campaign promises and expected dividends of democracy.

However, it is important to note that usually, all campaigns promises of any administration are tied to the nation's budget, hence, with the delay in passing the budget, it is expedient it is put into consideration.

By implication, the assessment will largely focus on structures, policies and reformation of the system.

As the appropriation budget will all things being equal be ready for implementation in few days time, we will give the federal government up till the end of the year to embark on another appraisal.

Nevertheless, this is a democratic system which is the government of the people, for and by the people, and therefore, everyone is a stakeholder. Essentially, where your freedom of expressions are constitutionally guaranteed. Hence, speak out and let the government know your mind.
