NOUN VC, Others Relocates To Abuja

THE office of the Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN and all the administrative units of the university will formally relocate to the permanent site of the institution, the University Village, Jaji in Abuja from March 23 to April 4, 2016.

Among the offices affected by this development includes the Bursary and Registry of the institution.
Others are the Department of Physical Planning (DPP), Human Resources (HR) and the University Library.

According to the directives, all the members of staff in the affected offices will move alongside their principals.


Already, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu resumed at the new University Headquarters in Abuja after official taking over from his predecessor, Prof Vincent Ado Tenebe who was among the five Vice Chancellors of the federal universities relieved of their positions by the federal government recently.

The newly acquired University Village built on a large expanse of land bigger than several villages merged together already has an exquisite Senate building among several other offices on it.
