LAGOS: Adeboye Calls For Tolerance At NAFSAT’s Anniversary

GENERAL Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God,RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called for peaceful coexistence between the Christians and Muslims in the country saying that both religions preaches peace, love and unity.

Adeboye, who was represented by a senior Pastor of RCCG, Pastor Michael Lawson reportedly commended the organizers for extending its invitations across all the religious groups in the country at the 21st anniversary of the Nasrullahil-I-Fatih Society on Sunday at the Lagos State Central Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja.

Other notable personalities at the event includes the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Mrs. Idiat Adebule and a Pastor of the Four Square Gospel Church, Ketu Branch, Pastor Godwin Elabor.


The President of the Muslim Congress, Dr. Lukman Ibrahim commended the courage and understanding of the Christian leaders to identify with them adding that both religions believe in unity and harmonious coexistence.

Similarly, Adebule expressed her gratitude to the Christian leaders stating that only a peaceful atmosphere will guarantee a meaningful progress in the nation and therefore added that the government will from time to time give supports to such events that will bring the both religions together towards having a mutual understanding as well as embarking on developmental programmes in the state.
