EFCC Detains Secondus, PDP Immediate Former Acting Nat Chairman

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday detained the immediate past acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, for allegedly receiving 23 choice vehicles from a business associate of ex-Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.

According to a reliable source from the Commission, Secondus name was discovered in the process of the investigations.
Reacting to the arrest, his party, the PDP has described the arrest as attempts towards emasculating the oppositions in the country which the anti-graft body has however, also denied stating that as a Commission, it has no affiliations with any political party in the country.

As at the time of filing this report, he was still in the custody. As discovered, the arrest has lead to panic among other political associates who are believably beneficiaries.
