FORMER military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida is alive and recuperating from from his illness in Germany.
This
is coming on account of a rumour spreading all over the nation that the former
Head of State is dead and will be buried at 2pm tomorrow.
General Babangida personally spoke from Germany stating that he is hale and hearty, and will be back in the country soon.
Earlier, one of his aide, Ibrahim Bamali, dismissed the rumours being spread by some persons stating that the General is alive and well.
“Babangida
is not dead, he is alive and well, please disregard the rumour going on in town”,
Bamali said.
The aide added that he will be back in Nigeria in few days to join his
family and therefore urged the general public to disregard the report adding
that there is no iota of truth in it.
