NATIONAL
leader of the All Progressive Congress and former governor of Lagos State,
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has visited President Muhammadu Buhari in the London
hospital where the President is undergoing treatments over the ear infections for
over a week.
According
to reports, Tinubu confirmed that the President is hale and hearty, however
wished him quick recovery. The President is expected back in Nigeria on Sunday
to resume duties on Monday.
Prior
to Buhari’s departure to London to visit a specialist hospital, it was reported
that the infection has become reoccurring leading to the referral to Ear, Nose
and Throat Specialist Hospital.
Following
the development, he applied for a ten-day medical leave and handed over to the
Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) on acting capacity pending when the
leave elapsed. However, the leave has been extended to last till Sunday as the
President confined to the Vice President of his rescheduling return on Sunday
to enable him rest over the weekend before resuming duty on Monday.
