EKITI CRISIS: Fayose Deceptively Orchestrated The Purported Meeting, Says Aluko

Ayodele Fayose
REVELATIONS on the alleged reconciliation between Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose and his estranged political ally, Dr. Temitope Aluko, a former Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state have finally come to light as the latter has denied the reconciliation truce and vowed to retain his earlier position on the matter, alleging that the governor orchestrated the questionable meeting to bring him to disrepute.

It was reported in the media on Sunday that the duo had reconciled their differences after disclosing how they conspired and stole the mandate of Ekiti people during the election that produced Fayose in office. The report alleged that Aluko therein refuted all his statements indicting the  governor in the election malpractices.

Aluko  in a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday,  said he was deceived to attend the purported peace meeting organised by two members of the party in respect for the personalities that organized it and to use the opportunity to air his views, and not knowing that it was a set up by Fayose.

“I need to emphasise that all that transpired at Eko Hotel on that faithful day was an organised propaganda/drama to stain my image and malign my personal integrity and I believe it would be a good script for Nolly wood act.”
“I only chose to attend the meeting in order to honour the party leader’s invitation. I will also like you to know that I am dealing with a master fraudster who is always full of mischief.”

“One fact remains clear, there is no where that I, Temitope Aluko, refuted anything I have earlier said before Nigerians and the whole world about the manipulations that characterised the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State.”

“I was shocked to see Governor Fayose walk into the meeting. It is worthy of note that it was at this point that my wife barged into the meeting to inform me that she noticed the presence of pressmen downstairs and there is a problem.”
