KOGI: Miri, First Female Vice Chancellor Resumes

The newly appointed Vice Chancellor for the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Prof. Angela Freeman Miri has formally assumed office.
 
The woman-VC who succeeds Prof. Abdulmumuni Hassan Rafindadi, resumed February 25th, shortly after which the inauguration of the university council took place in Abuja, on the 1st of March, with Prof. Nimi Briggs as FUL’s  Chairman of council/Pro-Chancellor.

According to the Nation, the new Vice Chancellor, who was formerly a two-time commissioner in Plateau State visited the palace of the Maigari of Lokoja on Monday, March 7.
Prof. Briggs, the chairman of council was reportedly to later embark on a tour of both the institution’s permanent and mini sites, in Felele and Adankole, when he visited FUL for the first time, while the first council meeting is to begin on Thursday.
