BUHARI CERTIFICATE: Court May Strike Out Case Today

A legal practitioner, Mr. Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, has given notice of withdrawal against a suit he instituted at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to challenge the eligibility of President Muhammadu Buhari without a valid secondary school certificate as he alleged that Buhari did not sit for the Cambridge West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1961 as he claimed.

Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe in his notice of discontinuance dated June 27 did not give any reason for the withdrawal.

“Take note that the plaintiff in this originating summons, Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, hereby discontinues this action”, he said...

Following the withdrawal of the suit from court, the trial judge, Justice Ademola Adeniyi will sit today to strike out the case accordingly.
