SOUTH-EAST: Cleric Condemns Activities of Herdsmen In the Zone

BISHOP of the Anglican Communion, Rt.Rev. Dr. Owen Nwokolo has vehemently condemned the activities of herdsmen who allegedly destroy the properties of their targets in the disguise of cattle rearing stating that the South-East geographical zone will no longer tolerate such nuisances.

The cleric reportedly said this at the All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha in Anambra State adding that the activities were strategies towards Islamizing the nation at all cost.

Nwokolo stated that his concern was on how the culprits always commit the heinous crimes against humanity without any form of punishments from the appropriate quarters rather, they were constantly shielded by the security agencies which therefore connote ulterior motives.

“It beats my imagination that these people are allowed to allegedly wiled weapons like AK47 rifle and other dangerous weapons like in the name of cattle rearing.

It is our suspicion that it was a plan to force some people into a particular religion, because their action amounts to invasion and federal government should rise to the occasion before it results in an uncontrollable crises”, Nwokolo said.
