Taraba State House of Assmbly |
HON.Mark Bako Useni of the Taraba State House of Assembly has been elected as the
Speaker of the House of the Assembly following the Court of Appeal judgment
which sacked the former speaker, Hon Peter Diah who represented Mbamga

of the votes of the members was accordingly declared as Speaker of the State
Assembly.
In his inaugural speech, the new Speaker registered his
gratitude over the unanimous decision of the members to elect him which he said
indicated of confidence and faith in him adding that his leadership would
improve on the previous administration.

relationship which had existed with the executive arm to ensure that the
electorates who voted them would be proud of their action at the end of their
tenure adding that with his experiences as the Speaker of the 7th
House of Assembly, the House will move forward with speed since he only stepped
