LAGOS: KAI Gets A New Leadership

THE Governor of Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has reconstituted a new leadership for the State’s ‘Kick Against Indiscipline’ (KAI) task force to be headed by Mr. Amusat Jimoh as the fourth Marshal-General succeeding Captain Danjuma Maigari (rtd).

Jimoh, a Police officer had served as a Divisional Police Officer in different divisions, and also was once the Head of Operations, Lion Building, Lagos State. He served as the Commander, Mopol 33 Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, and the Unit Commander, Mopol 20, Ikeja.

Others in the new management team are three Assistant Marshal-Generals representing the three Senatorial Districts in the State. Mr. Dapo Thomas heads the Lagos Central Senatorial District; Mr. Jacob Asogba -Lagos East Senatorial District while Mr. Abdul Kabir -Lagos West Senatorial District.
According to the statement released, the governor while giving the approval had tasked the new management to improve on the achievements of the previous management adding that KAI must live up to its expectation by ensuring that all manner of indiscipline within its scope of activities are brought to the barest minimal.  
It would be recalled that on assumption of office by the governor, among the first actions he took was rebranding and equipping the task force with new set of vehicles including air-conditioned salon cars of Toyota and Ford brands as well as the Police in the Lagos State  Command.
