FEDERAL government has declared
Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th September as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement made available by the
Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd) on behalf of the
federal government, the minister enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians in
general to support the present administration in its efforts geared towards the
diversification of the economy stressing that President Muhammadu Buhari is
unwaveringly committed to restructuring the economy for the benefits of all
citizens.
He reiterated that the President meant well for the country despite the hardship being experienced in the country, and therefore pleaded with all and sundry to exercise patience with the administration due to enormous works in progress.
