ABUJA: Redeemed Assistant Pastor Murdered In Cold Blood While Preaching, Osinbajo Visits Family

A young woman, Mrs. Eunice Elisha was yesterday murdered by yet to be identified persons during her early morning preaching within Bolar-Pipeline, around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, in Abuja.

The deceased, 42 year-old and mother of seven, was a Deaconess at the Divine Touch Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Old NEPA Road, Phase 4, Kubwa, was reported to have been hit in the neck and also stabbed in the stomach, according to eye witnesses.

Eunice until her untimely death was married to a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Her corpse was taken to phase four Police Station for further investigations...

Confirming the incident, the FCT command’s Spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) some suspects have been arrested over the incident and investigations have commenced to unravel the ugly situation...

“We have made some arrests and they are helping in our investigation. The commissioner of police has ordered the homicide section of the command to take over the investigation of the case,” he said.

The Wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo on Sunday (today) visited the bereaved family around 1:35 pm. and was received by the deceased’s husband, Pastor Olawale Elisha; children and a host of church members and other sympathisers.
